The Calypso Beach Retreat is a charming Bed & Breakfast located on the remote island of Long Caye, in the Lighthouse Reef Atoll, Belize. The Lighthouse Reef Atoll is known for its world class diving, including dive sites such as the Blue Hole discovered by Jacques Cousteau, Long Caye Wall and Half Moon Caye Wall. The Lighthouse Reef Atoll also is home to incredible fishing sites, beautiful Caribbean waters, Half Moon Caye National Park with endangered Red-Footed Booby birds, snorkeling, beach combing, and bird and iguana watching. Long Caye has strict eco-guidelines preserving the island making it an ideal Eco-Tourism destination.
The Inn is a 2 story tropical retreat made with local Belizean hardwoods and decorated in a Belizean Caribbean style. Each of the four guest rooms has bamboo poster beds with mosquito netting, local artwork, and private tiled baths. In addition to the ocean front views, the Inn offers wireless internet, a gift shop, hammocks, dive and fishing lockers, kayaks, a common kitchen and dining area for breakfast and guest socializing.
